In Qigong Flow, movement becomes one when it transcends the limitations of a linear sequence and embraces the cyclical nature of life. Explore this 3-Dimensional approach to movement to help you uncover your natural flow.
Here's how this unfolds
- Connecting Above and Below: Qigong Flow exercises often incorporate rising and rooting, symbolizing our connection to the vastness of the universe above and the grounding energy of the earth below. This vertical dimension integrates our movements within our natural connection to nature and the universe.
- Internal and External Harmony: Qigong Flow emphasizes the coordination of internal breath with external movement. As breath and movement become one, we experience a sense of wholeness within ourselves. Additionally, our internal energy extends outwards through flowing movements, creating a connection with the surrounding environment.
- Circular Completeness: Explore the flow, where does it truly end and begin? This exemplifies the cyclical nature of Qigong. It demonstrates that the end of a movement is often the beginning of the next, creating a continuous flow of energy.
By integrating these 3 dimensions, Qigong Flow allows us to experience movement as a unified whole, a continuous cycle that transcends the limitations of a simple beginning and end.
